Women’s Health and Bowel & Bladder Health

Pelvic floor physical therapy treats a variety of diagnoses related to women’s health. We always start with your primary concern, then do a thorough head to toe assessment looking at posture, mobility, range of motion, and strength. We also perform both an external pelvic floor assessment, as well as internal pelvic floor assessment based on the patient’s comfort level. The information and data gathered through this assessment helps to guide further treatment sessions to address the identified impairments and get you back to your goals.

Orthopedic Conditions

As an orthopedic clinical specialist, I also treat a variety of orthopedic conditions. We assess your movement, strength, mobility, coordination and range of motion to identify the impairments driving your pain or discomfort.

  • "Dr. Erica made me feel comfortable and truly listened, offered kind advice, encouragement, and reassurance."

“Working with Dr. Erica before my labor and again during the postpartum period was one of the best decisions I made for both preparing for birth and healing afterwards. Meeting with her before labor was incredibly helpful, especially since it was my first pregnancy and I had so much to learn. She guided me through exercises and techniques to prepare my body and help make labor as efficient as possible. She also equipped me with knowledge about what my body would go through, which gave me confidence and allowed me to support the process instead of feeling overwhelmed. During labor, I was so grateful for the tools she had taught me—I used many of them throughout the experience.

After birth, I returned to her for postpartum care when I had concerns about possible prolapse and lots of questions as a first-time mom. Each time we met, she made me feel completely comfortable, truly listened, and offered kind advice, encouragement, and reassurance. I cannot recommend Dr. Erica enough for pelvic floor physical therapy. She made such a huge difference in my motherhood journey, and I plan to see her again with any future pregnancies.”

“Such a wonderful experience! I worked with Dr. Erica during my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and postpartum. Her guidance, expertise, and professionalism were unmatched. I felt so equipped going into birth with the exercises and education that she offered me in our consultations. She really helped me to develop awareness of my prepartum and postpartum body as it went through many changes. I can’t say enough how impactful my time with her was!  I would recommend pelvic floor PT with Dr. Erica to everyone and anyone who will listen!”

  • "Erica was incredibly compassionate, reassuring and professional as I voiced my concerns and goals."

“I found Erica in what I thought was “too late” at 21 months postpartum. She encouraged me that once postpartum always postpartum and we started the journey of healing my core! I was apprehensive about pelvic floor PT and Erica was incredibly compassionate, reassuring and professional as I voiced my concerns and goals. Now 4 months postpartum after my 3rd kiddo, I am still utilizing the exercises and lessons that Erica taught me! Invest in yourself by healing your core and pelvic floor, mama. Erica is the best and you won’t regret it!”

  • "Dr. Erica put me at ease and I immediately felt hopeful at such an unsure time in my life.

“I began working with Dr. Erica earlier this year after I experienced a pelvic floor prolapse. I had previously attended her seminar on incontinence, and she made a strong impression on me with her knowledge and understanding of women’s health issues. So when my prolapse occurred she was the first person to come to mind. I was a wreck, I had no idea what a prolapse was or what effect it would have on my life. From our first meeting, Dr Erica listened with compassion and genuine care. She put me at ease and I immediately felt hopeful at such an unsure time in my life.

As someone who values an active lifestyle, I was unsure if I would ever return to the level of movement and exercise that I was accustomed to. Dr Erica heard my goals, especially how important it was for me to return to running. She created a thorough plan and supported me every step of the way. Week after week I would come with new questions and concerns and she would talk me through each and every one. I always left feeling heard and validated.

I am now back to my active lifestyle and most importantly, running. I have regained trust and confidence in my body. This would not have been possible without Dr. Erica’s support, guidance and expertise. I can’t thank her enough for her belief in me. She made a real difference in my life and I will be forever grateful for her care.”
